Summer Programs & More!

Camp & Specialized Group Initiatives: 2016

Therapeutic camp played a fundamental part in Ms. Bri’s youth & development – let alone her professional plight. Research repeatedly supports that camps build skills necessary to prepare youth to assume roles as successful adults. Parents, campers & camp staff independently report growth in areas such as self-confidence, independence, social connectedness, and curiosity for new hobby &/or skill development – following camp participation.

Each summer – and throughout the year – Ms. Bri remains attuned to the generalized needs & interests of the families with whom she works; & the community at large. Mindful Milestones in collaboration with Mindcrafters, LLC & Millstones in the Making, INC is proud to offer the following therapeutic camps during the summer of 2016:

  1. Big-Brother, Little-Brother Camp: 3rd Annual for boys of all ages with executive dysfunction (AD/HD) & interested in collaborative competition as a means to self-growth. This therapeutic program will engage youth in teamwork; creative problem solving; exploration & adventure; competition & creation; PLUS, experimental snacking!     1. BOYS CAMP AD16 * BOYS APPLICATION
  2. Girls-Only Summer Camp, for female identifying youth entering 6th-10th grade who would benefit in learning to live more healthy & balanced lives. This therapeutic program will include yoga practice, psycho-education specific to adolescent females, journaling, self-discovery through different group activities, & relaxation exercise. Summer Membership Options with Mindcrafters, LLC, for youth entering grades 4-12 who would benefit from continued scholastic mentorship this summer (i.e. subject tutoring, creative problem-solving &/or growth of a learning mindset). Jeremiah (Mr. Miah) Braiman, M.Ed. is a professional educator using a Mindcrafters’ Learning Lab to engage youth in the joys of learning.
